Mammoth underfloor blanket is made from 100% polyester and is a great option for reducing heat loss through suspended timber floors.
Mammoth® underfloor blanket is recommended only for experienced installers or builders as the insulation is stapled into place between floor joists near electrical wiring. Mammoth polyester insulation is moisture resistant and so is the preferred option for suspended floors.Also available are high-performance Mammoth underfloor sections which have a higher R-value and are self-supporting for easy install.
Mammoth products contain recycled polyester fibres. Mammoth underfloor blanket insulation uses up to 3,300 recycled plastic bottles per 100sqm*.
